The Century in Food

This Beverly Bundy title from 2002 is a must have if you frequently have students doing research on various decades. It is also a fun read. Broken down into decades, the book covers fads, newly introduced foods (with lovely time lines) and general historical events. Lavishly illustrated with period photos, this was so intriguing to me that I bought a copy to have at home. It's a fun book to give to students who are sitting in study hall and don't want to read anything.
